Avocado Toast with Poached Egg

My first try making poached egg and it came out perfect!  This is such a simple, quick, and easy recipe for breakfast (or even lunch/dinner). I seasoned my avocado spread with lemon, parsley, salt & pepper. Added poached egg (I'm gonna try it with bacon next time) and topped it off with salt & pepper to taste and added a pinch of cayenne pepper. yumm!

Juice Cleanse

So after the holidays, I've decided to try out this "juice cleanse" from BluePrint -- you know, to clean out my system, and all.  It's 100% raw/organic and all that good stuff.. But I gotta tell yah, the first day was pretty hard especially for someone like me who loves to eat!

Photos posted below are pretty random (as always). 2014, I must say, was a big eye opener for me. Not to get into too much details but my parents moved to Florida, two of my friends and my lovely cousin got engaged - two of which are destination weddings by the way. I got in the Surgical Tech Program in LIU!!! Classes begin in a couple of weeks. Yup.. back to school again. I'm pretty excited for this year. Have a couple of things planned out and hope everything will work out. With that said, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Currently obsessing over this delicate necklace by Alex Woo and this watch by Daniel Wellington which is absolutely gorgeous. Such a classic, timeless, minimalistic piece. I love it.

Studded Boots

I've been lusting over these babies for the longest and they're finally here! Have to work a lot of OT for this ;) They are super comfortable and you can wear them with anything! Although, I can't stand shoes that make my feet look big... these boots are definitely an exception - so chic, my style, a staple in my wardrobe.

first post of the new year

Funny how my first post of the year consists of some random photos taken at the end of the year. So yeah, I can sit here all night and write a list of what my new years resolution would be and how things will be different this year.. but i won't do that. However, I would have to say one of the biggest thing for me in 2013 was getting an english bulldog pup, Ace. This dog is too much and I love him.
